Solar Powered Garden Hot Box

Concept Sketch:

The window would be 2 Plexiglas sheets 3 inches apart. Styrofoam Beads would be blown into it to close it and out to open it. When they are out it is open to daylight and when they are in it is closed, thereby not allowing the heat to escape into the cold dark night. It's like a hot house, but small and smart, it would automatically regulate the growing conditions.

Telecommunications would enable it to inexpensively do vending and many other interactive operations. In effect it could function as the medium in which people would teach, learn, sell and buy food. This would make it possible to easily gather data on peoples eating habits which could be useful in diagnosing and /or treating eating disorders.
